Hong Kong Chinese Women’s Club

The Hong Kong Chinese Women's Club was established on 10 October, 1938, with the aim of connecting various women's groups to work together for social construction and charitable welfare efforts. In its early years, the organisation focused on disaster relief work before and after the war. As society developed and needs changed, it shifted to promoting charitable welfare initiatives that protect women and children and emphasise education. The Club has also been dedicated to advocating for women's rights and equal pay to enhance women's social status. Since the 1980s, as the government strengthened its support for the elderly, the Club has also started providing services for seniors.
